This is a first time trying at a blog. I would like the ladies of the Riverside/San Bernardino chapter of the American Sewing Guild to be able to come to this site to hear what's going on in the 4 different Neighborhood groups I attend.
The Riverside group had their year end Christmas party. What Great food. These ladies know how to cook. Great Turn out also for a gloomy day. Discuss the many class projects we would like to learn for the 2011 session. Next month we will be doing the community project of bibs so serger or sewing machine are needed.
The Redlands Group. Had wonderful food also for their year end meeting, and we were giving the list of projects we are going to do for the next year. Please go to http://www.asgie.org/ for the fleece coat directions which will be taught in January.
The Calimesa group....Wow...So many from Hemet, Sun City and Riverside showed even though we had 3 inches of rain that day. Once again the worlds greatest homemade candy was given to each member who attend. Nice to seat down with ladies of similar interest and dine on more great tasting food. In January we are going to be doing UFO's Unfinished projects we have. I have so many I don't know which one to take next month. With luck and it's quiet between Christmas and New Year I might get some finished.
Next week I will attend the Moreno Valley group. We are going to share cookies and discuss next years schedule.

This blog would be a lot better if you told about the candy BEFORE it was passed out.
ReplyDeleteThe part about cookies in Moreno Valley is an example of timeliness.
Big notice to Asg Inland Empire!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe San Bernardino groups first meeting of the year we will be making Painted Turtle Pillows!
